With 20 years’ experience working in creative tech, Matt has been working with immersive technology since he co-founded Immersive VR Ltd in early 2015, driving the company from a three person start-up to a 20 person award-winning team working with clients ranging from Yamaha and IKEA to Kelloggs and Google.


Matt is a passionate enthusiast for developing new consumer experiences and growing independent operations that can be nimble in the face of adjustments to demand. As a leader, his ambition for UNKNOWN is to make VR experiences a core part of the entertainment landscape.





​Andrew has 22 years experience in the consumer engagement advertising industry and during this time has built an incredibly strong client, creative and agency relationship network across many sectors and channels. Andrew spent 10 years as Business Director of DCM (Digital Cinema Media) working with the UK's leading cinema chains, brands, agencies and creative partners to drive revenue, innovation, creativity and ROI in the entertainment space.

With the team he tripled revenues and won the prestigious MediaWeek Team of the year in 2018, leading teams across a range of industry-first commercial deals including MediaWeek award-winning campaigns for brands such as Natwest, LIDL, Samsung and Airbnb.  Previous to that Andrew spent seven years within the out-of-home market, working with smaller challenger players where revenue growth was harder to come by. Andrew became an expert in client relationship management ensuring his portfolio offering was more considered across a cluttered marketplace led by big corporate players.





ames is co-founder and Technical Director of Immersive and XIST VR with more than 20 years experience in technical development, across both the public and private sectors. His knowledge of VR development is vast, having built projects for the likes of Ericsson, Mazda, Hugo Boss and Mastercard.

James has led the development of the XIST system and all experiences within the platform. UNKNOWN will bring James's technical creation to a consumer market.





Zoe has worked in the media and advertising industry for more than 20 years with extensive experience in: improving business performance, leading award-winning teams, marketing, strategic planning, internal and external communications, thought leadership, partnerships, brand development, product development, insight projects and corporate responsibility. In Zoe’s most recent role she was Digital Cinema Media’s (DCM) Marketing & Insight Director from October 2012 to February 2021.





Miles is a successful, award-winning, international commercial leader. With a magazine background to 2001 he joined the digital revolution with AOL UK in 2001 prior to its Time Warner ownership. A period at Yahoo! preceded a number of years at Last fm sold to CBS Inc. for $280m and was pre-Spotify.


Miles then joined Shazam in 2012 to create the EU commercial strategy that turned the app from a pure consumer play to a marketing platform used by many of the world’s largest brands before being sold to Apple Inc in 2018 for an undisclosed sum. During 2016 Miles joined the Swiftscale/PWC Mentor Scale-up programme where he advised and mentored two cohorts offering guidance and expertise in sales and marketing strategies.


Post Shazam, Miles saw an opportunity to explore the exploding world of VR. He joined MelodyVR and put immersive music experiences into millions of people’s pockets via milestone partnerships with 02 Telefónica, Festival Republic and Singtel. MelodyVR purchased Napster (Rhapsody International) in 2020 for $70m in a reverse takeover.





Tom has over 15 years' experience in corporate and project finance. As a director of GOi he has overseen investment and creative partnerships in brands in the drinks, creative and manufacturing industries. Tom's career started with investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort and Ernst and Young and his transaction experience includes clients such as, Tesco and XL Airways. In addition, Tom spent 10 years working in the creative industries with Horizons Media and Big View.
